Where your money actually lives
In your stokvel’s own bank account — opened in the group’s name, controlled by your committee, moved only through your bank. That does not change when you start using Stok-Vel. Members still bring cash to the meeting; the committee still banks it. The only thing that moves onto the app is the record of it.

We can't run off with the money
You cannot lose what someone never holds. Stok-Vel has no access to your funds — there is nothing on our side to misuse.
Your bank is still your bank
The money sits in your stokvel's own account, moved only by your committee through your bank — precisely as it does now.
If the app ever went away
Your savings would be completely untouched — they were never with us. You would simply be back to the paper book, with your money safe in the bank.
